WE ARE IN CALIFORNIA!!! I am soooooo upset however!!! There was NO welcome to CA sign in Lake Tahoe! What is up with that??

I cycled to the top of the pass at Lake Tahoe. Phew. My 3rd toughest pass this whole trip and extremely difficult to breathe today. We had to travel over an hour to find a campground. Would you believe our campground cost $93??? Gotta love CA!

Tomorrow I will travel up to Kirkwood where the 88/89 is closed out of Lake Tahoe. I will lose 22.3 miles. Pretty sure I have that many bonus miles anyways!!! I am hoping the smoke isn’t terrible in the morning so I don’t lose anymore.

We saw 35 Tesla’s today! That alone screams CA. Jocelynn counts them. Her way of managing the boredom of driving at 10mph for 6+ hours a day.

I’m starting to get very emotional about the coast line. So excited to see Bill Walters and my momma for the finish. We will likely go Facebook live next Thursday the 29th around 11pm IN time to share the finish.

Tomorrow I should be very close to Sacramento as my miles are MOSTLY down. I am sooooo excited. My bum is so excited. That saddle sore is screaming at me tonight. It just needs to give me 3 more good days!!
