Another beautiful Nevada Day. Honestly I think I will miss the peace and quiet of Route 50 once I hit California. I am expecting much busier roads.

This morning started chilly. Prayer warriors. Keep up your weather praying because you and God are giving me some excellent weather. We had a beautiful fog layer this morning. Unfortunately the wild fire smoke has everything pretty smoked in this afternoon.

We got our first 1/2 a peace sign in Nevada today. Kinda bummed. I prayed for this lady that she realizes it takes 2 fingers to make the peace sign by tomorrow.

I about died today. In case you are keeping track. I had to ride through 4.5 miles of the biggest cricket/grasshopper prehistoric killing bug ever. It was downright frightening. See photos.

We are in Austin at our gifted camp site. The only thing open in town was this saloon. We were hungry. So we stopped. They told us they don’t serve food. Only whiskey and beer. I quickly explained I couldn’t do that and do what I am doing. So back to the camper we went and so incredibly thankful for a few pieces of “Jenny” pasta left. Todd Ortman please thank your beautiful facebookless wife .
