Welcome to Wandering Project. Who are we? Just two girls who love to cycle and want to make a dream come true by riding across the America coast to coast. We want to challenge ourselves, see the country at a slower pace, see small towns, meet new people and get in a little exercise everyday for 7 weeks. We not only want to expand our own horizons but we want this journey of ours to benefit others as well. Both of us are extremely proud of our men and women who have serve our country and make everything we do everyday in our lives possible by keep us safe and free. We want to ride and raise money for those who have been severely wounded and help equip them with a safer home which will give them the freedom to be more independent in their daily lives. We are honored to support Homes for the Troops. This incredible organization builds adaptive housing for our wounded Vets at no cost to them. We are honored to support them with on this ride. Our goal is to raise$3800 as well as raise awareness of Homes For Our Troops. We would love for you to join us and help us support those who have sacrificed their personal freedom so that we can live our comfortable lives. Check out Donita’s and Kristy’s page for donating to Homes for our Troops.
We both will be keeping a personal journal over at crazyguyonabike.com. If you ever plan to cycle long distance, this is a place to go for a plethora of information on touring. We hope you will follow both of us. We will blog here with updates, some pictures, and links to our journals. Thanks for your interest and your support! You can find out about donating to HFOT’s on the donation tab in the menu and our Journals are in the journal tab in the menu as well.
Cheers, or as some cyclist say… Happy Tailwinds!
